As of December 2008, this bottle was redesigned to be BPA-free, with packaging designating its status. BPA-containing polycarbonate Drop-Ins Premium Nursers may still be on the market, so look before you buy - items available on Amazon.com through the links below appear to be versions which do contain BPA.
BPA-free versions of the Kinder-Grip Bottle were available starting in December 2008 and are labeled as BPA-free on the packaging. Non-BPA-free Kinder-Grip Bottles could still be on store shelves depending on store stocking policies. If you find a Kinder-Grip Bottle that is unlabeled, or that you know was purchased before December 2008, it should be assumed that it contains BPA. Purchasing online without complete information is not advised if you wish to avoid BPA.
The VentAire Advanced bottle is currently on the market in both BPA-containing and BPA-free versions. The BPA-free version's packaging states that the product is BPA-free.
The standard style of the VentAire contains BPA. Packaging of BPA-free VentAire lines (some VentAire Advanced and all VentAire Crystal Clear) should state that the product is BPA-free on the packaging.
