The blade attachment is currently made of ABS, but was made of polycarbonate until July 2008. For this line of blenders, the change can be distinguished by the color of the blade attachment; ABS attachments are solid colored (black or white), while polycarbonate blade attachments are clear.

All other food contact parts are made of polypropylene and SAN.
