The 7 oz. Foogo sippy, sold in pink/purple and blue/yellow color combinations, has a soft plastic spout and is sold with or without non-removable handles attached to the screw lid. It's a great size for little hands, and the vacuum-insulated design makes it comfortable to hold with cold liquids, but the plastic screw lid is difficult to open and close tightly without considerable effort. Spout components are moderately easy to take apart and clean.

The sippy performed well in our drop tests, receiving only minor scuffs due to its tough plastic base (we dropped each cup from 45- and 90-degree angles from a height of about three feet onto a brick patio). But the "Leak Proof" cup performed poorly in our leak tests, leaking water when shaken upside down and also slowly leaking drops of water from its spout when left on its side for a few minutes.

SafeMama: The Foogo's insulation keeps liquids cold or hot longer than any other we’ve tried. It has a valve construction in the top portion which comes apart for easy cleaning. Including the main cup portion there are a total of 4 pieces, which isn’t bad considering cups like the BornFree which has about 7. I do like how the handles are part of the cup and don’t come off… although they do have a handless cup too for those who might prefer that style. [Full review]

Thermos' Foogo straw cup is ideal for older toddlers due to its size and flip-top lid. The straw and lid components are a far superior design to other straw cups we've had, and the parts come apart easily for cleaning. The cup lived up to its "Leak Proof" title with its lid closed. The first-model-year Foogo sippy fared poorly in our drop test; dropped from both 45- and a 90-degree angles, it suffered dents in its bottom edge through the weak plastic frame and showed discolored denting in the plastic as well, making us wonder whether a bit more abuse would break off the bottom shell completely. The design has since been reworked to include a thick, full-base bumper similar to the one on the Foogo sippy - an improvement good enough to make this one of the best straw cups we've used.

This slimmed-down version of the classic Thermos design features a screw-plug lid with pour spout (open the lid a bit and you can pour liquid out) and an exterior screw lid that doubles as a cup. Available in silver or blue, it's better for desk work, where filling and drinking from the accompanying cup is a reminder to hydrate, than for anyone who doesn't want to interrupt physical activity for more than a moment. As for us, we welcome the interruptions as a chance to take a breather.

The lid was a bit rattled in our drop test, but functioned as normal; the lid's hard plastic was visibly scuffed. The base lacks the plastic bumper of some Thermos models. In terms of its insulation, the Raya outperformed all other bottles in our chill test, keeping cold water at 54 degrees in a hot car for four hours.
